Nikkie Dobosi, Cello

Nikkie completed her performance degrees at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, before travelling overseas to play a chamber music tour of Italy and participate in Masterclasses and festivals in London and Germany.

Since 1997 she has played with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, for Musica Viva in the string quartet ‘Crisantemi’; the Neu Chamber Orchestra of Colonge (Germany) , Opera House Orchestra Proms, Melbourne Philharmonia, the Sydney Lyric Orchestra and Sydney Festival.

Nikkie performs many tours and sessions, most recently The ‘White Album’ show touring Australia; and Glen Sharock, Jerry Lewis, Glen Parkinson, Chrissy Amphlett, The Baby Animals, Elaine Paige, The Aria Awards, ‘Diesel’, Missy Higgins, and Angus and Julia Stone.

Nikkie has performed on movie soundtracks, including Maos Last Dancer, Lego Movie 2, Australia, Happy Feet 1 & 2; and Live Orchestra screenings have been with the movies ‘Psycho’ and ‘Bugs Bunny on Broadway’. Recent TV appearances have been on X Factor and Australian Idol.

Nikkie founded her own quartet ‘Lushous strings’ who are the ‘On Hold’ music for Telstra, also recording the theme track to Channel 7’s series ‘ A place called home’ and Optus advertisements. Nikkie teaches at her home studio and at
St Joesphs College School.

Grant Naylor, Percussion

Grant Naylor has performed in over 25 different countries, performing the European festival circuit extensively (including Glastonbury, Womad, Edinburgh, North Sea Jazz, and Pepsi Seiget Budapest.)

Grant has performed to audiences of up to 30,000 and more, he is truly a seasoned professional, astounding the crowd where ever he performs. Grant Naylor has performed mainly throughout Europe and Asia, performing with bands of all styles with DJ ‘s and theatre companies.

Grant first played with DJ’s in London @ the infamous club “Heaven” and has toured the electronic music circuit extensively throughout Eastern and Western Europe.

Headlining a lot of festivals with trance techno outfit “Tribal Drift” (who were number 3 in the charts in eastern Europe) Grant has been heavily involved with African music for many years and has toured the big festivals of the U.K. and Europe, performing with an array of West African bands and drumming and dance troupes.

In Australia Grant performs with Bands, DJs and African Drumming Troupes You can catch him in Sydney clubs, high prole corporate events or anywhere from coast to coast touring with some of Australia’s best acts.
