Dan is a Sydney based Drummer with an extensive background of influences and experience. Starting from a young age and growing up with a gospel background, he was playing live in front of crowds from as young as the age of 6. It wasn’t long before his keen ear for diverse styles and genres fuelled his fire for music, in particularly drumming.
He is a member of Australian indie rock band Battleships, who have been travelling nationally playing with bands including Boy and Bear, The Paper Kites and The Preatures. Dan is also currently playing for X Factor artist Cat Vas and The Voice’s Nick Kingswell. He brings a natural rock edge to his playing and an energy to the stage that is sure to capture the heart behind the music.
Jan has been working as a professional musician in Sydney for the last 10 years, playing, touring and recording with a diverse range of artist both locally and internationally.
These include Boy and Bear, Josh Pyke, Lisa Mitchell, Tin Sparrow, Lachy Doley, Christine Anu, Mitch Anderson, Amali Ward, Casey Donovan, Clare Bowditch, Georgia Fair The Widowbirds and more.
Matt Smith began playing guitar at the age of 8. After high school, he went on to study music further at Southern Cross University under the teaching of Jim Kelly, whom he later recorded a duo guitar album with called ‘Onwards and sideways”.
Matts has always loved a wide spectrum of music, from the most contemporary jazz to rock and pop music.
He was a finalist in the ‘National Jazz Awards’ for the guitar at Wangaratta jazz festival in 2007, and supported George Benson last year in Australia. Matt also plays regularly as James Morrison guitarist.
Matt is a founding member of Reggae/Afrobeat/Hip-hop band “The Strides” who have released 3 albums and toured Australia widely. They also receive airplay on JJJ and have a release overseas where they have found themselves climbing the reggae charts in France, Italy and other parts of Europe.
In 2009 Matt was hired by Warner to play the guitar on Thirsty Merc’s 3rd album ‘Mousetrap Heart’ which was recorded at ‘Sound City Studios’ in LA under legendary producer Matt Wallace. After the album, Matt was asked to join the band.
Since then Matt has toured extensively both in Australia and overseas with Thirsty Merc and performed alongside many great acts.
While Thirsty Merc has taken the best part of a year off Matt has been touring internationally with Pete Murray. Over the years Matt has also performed and recorded with many other artists including Darren Percival, Karise Eden, Mahalia Barnes, Jimmy Barnes, Lisa Hunt, Ngaiire, Leo Sayer, Kate Cebrano, Wendy Mathews, Steve Kilby, Jonathan Zwartz, Katie Noonan, Ray Beadle, Phil Slater, Simon Barker, The Vampires, Cameron Undy and Terapi Richmond.
While supporting Meat Loaf recently Matt was asked by Meat Loaf to play a guitar solo with his band during his Australian tour.

Stuart (Chet) has been playing the guitar professionally since the age of 15. In 1986 he and Jon Stevens formed the band Noiseworks. They released three multi-platinum albums. He was a member of the Jesus Christ Superstar band in 1993.
In 1994 Stuart joined the Farnham Band and became the first Australian artist to be endorsed by Gibson Guitar.
Stuart has worked with Tom Jones, Ray Charles, Boz Scaggs, Kylie Minogue, Joe Camilleri, Tommy Emmanuel, Tina Arena, Olivia Newton-John, Nick Barker, Diesel, Daryl Braithwaite and David Hirschfelder. He has collaborated on several projects as performer, producer, composer for albums, commercial jingles, television shows and theatre. Stuart worked with Chong Lim on many of the recordings for the Sydney Olympic Games.
