Pete Drummond is one of Australia’s most phenomenal drummers. His relentless pursuit of technical mastery and his deep-rooted musicality have captured the attention of many of the world’s great drumming artists including Virgil Donati, Dave Weckl, Thomas Lang and Mike Mangini.As a solo drumming artist, Pete’s mind-blowing performances at major drumming festivals both in Australia and overseas, have established him as one of the rising stars of the next generation of drummers. As Thomas Lang (Drumming superstar) stated in Modern Drummer magazine: “Pete Drummond is an amazing Australian Drummer”.Since 2005, Pete has been a member of the legendary Australasian band Dragon (ARIA Hall of Fame Inductees). He is one of the main songwriters and the Producer for the band. He also plays keyboards, samples and sings in the live shows. As a sideman Pete has worked with a host of great artists, spanning a wide array of musical styles including: Joan Rivers (US Comedian), The Temptations (US Motown Legends),, Glenn Shorrock (Little River Band), Wendy Matthews, Ricki Lee, Shannon Noll, Choirboys, Lee Kernaghan, Adam Brand, Jeremy Barnes (The World’s Fastest Guitarist).Pete Drummond as a session drummer, Pete has appeared on a multitude of albums, commercials and soundtracks, Inc. Shannon Noll’s 2012 ‘Switch Me On’, Dead Ringer Band’s ARIA award winning album ‘Homefires’, Channel 10, NRL, ABC TV and many more.Pete’s performance at The Ultimate Drummers Weekend 2003 received widespread acclaim, and subsequently, Pete is a cover artist on the internationally released DVD of the event; alongside Thomas Lang, John Blackwell JR. (Prince) and Jimmy Degrasso (Megadeth).
Lozz has played and toured with well-established Sydney acts including Urthboy, Pat Capocci, The Drey Rollan Band, Drummer Queens, The JHD Revival Band, Sirens Big Band and Rackett. Lozz is well known and respected in the Sydney music scene as “That Red Head”. Her old school style rockabilly trio blends blues and country together with a dash of punk attitude. Lozz will be joining the team for percussion duties.
2016 has been a very exciting year for Susannah Mirana with the successful release of her debut single with her band Linki and a follow-up single out next month, cementing her roots as an indie rock artist.
Susannah is a charismatic, energetic, and versatile singer/songwriter who has performed extensively throughout Australia, Europe and Asia. Her natural vocal style and ability to perform many genres have enabled her to work alongside many profile artists around Australia.
Her talents also extend to radio and TV, where as a traffic reporter and voice-over artist she can be heard across various leading Sydney stations.
Nikkie completed her performance degrees at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, before travelling overseas to play a chamber music tour of Italy and participate in Masterclasses and festivals in London and Germany.
Since 1997 she has played with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, for Musica Viva in the string quartet ‘Crisantemi’; the Neu Chamber Orchestra of Colonge (Germany) , Opera House Orchestra Proms, Melbourne Philharmonia, the Sydney Lyric Orchestra and Sydney Festival.
Nikkie performs many tours and sessions, most recently The ‘White Album’ show touring Australia; and Glen Sharock, Jerry Lewis, Glen Parkinson, Chrissy Amphlett, The Baby Animals, Elaine Paige, The Aria Awards, ‘Diesel’, Missy Higgins, and Angus and Julia Stone.
Nikkie has performed on movie soundtracks, including Maos Last Dancer, Lego Movie 2, Australia, Happy Feet 1 & 2; and Live Orchestra screenings have been with the movies ‘Psycho’ and ‘Bugs Bunny on Broadway’. Recent TV appearances have been on X Factor and Australian Idol.
Nikkie founded her own quartet ‘Lushous strings’ who are the ‘On Hold’ music for Telstra, also recording the theme track to Channel 7’s series ‘ A place called home’ and Optus advertisements. Nikkie teaches at her home studio and at
St Joesphs College School.
Grant Naylor has performed in over 25 different countries, performing the European festival circuit extensively (including Glastonbury, Womad, Edinburgh, North Sea Jazz, and Pepsi Seiget Budapest.)
Grant has performed to audiences of up to 30,000 and more, he is truly a seasoned professional, astounding the crowd where ever he performs. Grant Naylor has performed mainly throughout Europe and Asia, performing with bands of all styles with DJ ‘s and theatre companies.
Grant first played with DJ’s in London @ the infamous club “Heaven” and has toured the electronic music circuit extensively throughout Eastern and Western Europe.
Headlining a lot of festivals with trance techno outfit “Tribal Drift” (who were number 3 in the charts in eastern Europe) Grant has been heavily involved with African music for many years and has toured the big festivals of the U.K. and Europe, performing with an array of West African bands and drumming and dance troupes.
